For so many decades we have been spoiled into thinking real estate is an investment. And to some extent it is, but on the large part, real estate is a human transaction that occurs in response to a life change. Growing a family, empty-nesting or adjusting to new financial norms are some reasons why the home you want to live in needs to change.
