This past month I sold a 4bed, 4bath detached home in under a week. Now, I can assure you this was not an easy feat. There was strategy and flexibility and understanding involved at all stages. Seeing as we are experiencing an abundant amount of inventory in most areas, coupled with weary buyers sitting on the sidelines, selling a house today has to involve the kind of skill set you would find in a mom. That’s right I said mom. I am a mom, and let me tell you the kind of skill set I am made up of I have only seen in other moms (and some super human women). And somehow we adjust and pivot and make it look pretty at the same time (most of the time).
There is no sugar coating this, and the hard truth is the market is not going to balance, it has balanced and it will continue to correct for the near future. Selling in the kind of market we are seeing today, requires a diverse and dynamic skill set. So find yourself a professional that is up for the challenge, heck find yourself a professional that thrives in the challenge (✋me!).
