We have all seen or heard of the softening the market has seen for good part of this year, could the housing market be changing direction following a period of slowness in recent months?
Simple answer, it’s too premature to make any real conclusions. Although home sales in the Toronto area continue to be low, certain figures are showing unexpected movement contrary to initial expectations.
This is likely due to Sellers pausing on the sale of their properties, and waiting instead until early Spring of 2024 to list. We will have a much better indication of this next month.
